The Glasshouse Arts Conference and Entertainment Centre

The Glasshouse is a brand new $43 million cultural centre being built in the heart of city centre of the growing capital of the mid north coast Port Macquarie. The centre, due for opening in the beginning of 2009 brings together under one roof a 600 seat “state of the art” proscenium arch theatre, a flexible studio space, a first class regional gallery, meeting rooms, workshops spaces, cafe and outdoor forecourt.

Situated on the coast, Port Macquarie is a perfect midway touring location, between two of Australia’s capital cities. It is 420 kilometres north of Sydney and 510 kilometres south of Brisbane.
