THE EDGE® is New Zealand's premier performing arts, entertainment and conference centre.

Based in the heart of Auckland city, THE EDGE® comprises the Aotea Centre, The Civic, the Auckland Town Hall and Aotea Square.

There is truly something for everyone at THE EDGE®; throughout the year we present or host a huge range of performances and events, many of which are free of charge. We are the Auckland home for many of the country's leading performing arts organisations, including NBR New Zealand Opera, The Royal New Zealand Ballet, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Auckland Philharmonia, Chamber Music New Zealand and Auckland Chamber Orchestra. We are also the venue of choice for most visiting performers and shows.

Our commitment to the community is to provide access to a range of theatre, art and entertainment that reflects the diversity of our people, their interests and cultures.

We are committed to taking initiatives that will co-ordinate and strengthen the organisations involved in the performing arts, entertainment and conference sector of Auckland and New Zealand.
