Arts Centre Melbourne

Arts Centre Melbourne, is Australia's largest performing arts complex. It comprises seven major venues in three primary buildings, a total audience capacity in excess of 20,000.

The Theatres building, topped by the unique Spire, houses the State Theatre (2000 seats), Playhouse (800) and Fairfax Studio (400).

Hamer Hall is undergoing a major redevelopment and will be closed from July 2010 and scheduled to re-open in mid 2012.

Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Victoria's iconic outdoor performance venue, with a capacity for 13,000.

Arts Centre Melbourne is also home to the unique State Collection of performing arts material and a significant Australian visual art collection.

Other facilities include food and beverage outlets, function spaces and a car park.
