Street Theatre

An arts house welcoming all who come through its doors, The Street Theatre offers an exciting alternative theatre experience for those interested in contemporary work made by professional and independent artists. The Street Presents produces a curated program of performance work from cabaret to drama to comedy and dance offering up a taste of Canberra - both on and offstage.

Conveniently located in Canberra City West, The Street Theatre houses two theatres, meeting rooms and a cafe/bar.  Officially opened in 1994 The Street Theatre is the ideal venue for presenting small to medium sized events such as contemporary music, drama, cabaret, comedy, dance, and chamber performance.
