The original Centenary Hall building was refurbished 10 years ago to provide a place for hire to community groups, schools, dance schools and local theatre companies. The venue has matured and evolved significantly since that tim. It now attracts commercial hirers, staging productions by both State and National touring companies and development of a significant entrepreneurial program.

With the development of the venue has come the recognition that is is now positioned as the premier performing arts centre in Melbournes's west. With Capital Work improvements totalling $325,000 in 2010-11 and a further $270,000 in 2011-12, and $554,000 earmarked for 2012-13 to 2014-15.
