Whyalla’s premier entertainment venue comprises the Middleback Theatre and Whyalla Twin Cinemas providing live entertainment and cinema seven days a week all year round.
The Middleback Theatre serves a dual purpose as live theatre and cinema. It offers a raked auditorium providing an intimate atmosphere for 500 and stages a wide range of performances including plays, musicals, concerts, opera, dance and revues.

Patrons can enjoy high quality international and national acts, as well as local productions in comfortable air-conditioned surroundings with bar facilities.

The newly renovated second cinema offers the finest in cinema experiences showing first and new release movies using dolby digital surround sound and big screen technology in comfortable cinema style seating for 216. The complex also offers facilities and access for people with disabilities.

The Middleback also has excellent amenities for conferences, seminars and public meetings. The spacious foyer easily accommodates art exhibitions and displays.
