About
Ipswich Civic Centre is the region's premier entertainment facility with a theatre and four function rooms.
The main auditorium can seat 740 patrons in the flat-floored concert format, or 560 in the tiered theatre seating configuration (which includes198 patrons in the overhead gallery) and up to 300 guests at tables for large catered functions,.
Theatre:
The auditorium can be configured as a flat floored seating plan or theatre style raked seating with an upper level gallery.
The stage is equipped with a seamless cyclorama, full set of black velvet legs, a half stage depth set of legs, borders and 3 sets of tabs.
A music stands with lights are available for use.
The Orchestra Pit can seat 20 musicians in comfort.
Modular rostra of various heights are also available.
State of the Art in house sound and lighting equipment is available with complete technical support.
The Box Office provides ticketing services by phone, online and counter service with credit card facilities.
