About
The Frankston Arts Centre (FAC) is one of the finest facilities of its kind in Australia. Designed by Daryl Jackson and opened in 1995 it was built, with significant community support, by the Frankston City Council. In 2001 Cube 37, was added, as a community arts hub. The venue receives approximately 250,000 visitors annually.
The FAC has a much admired 800-seat theatre as well as a 190-seat flexible performance space, and is a significant alternative and complementary venue to those in Melbourne. In addition to a range of visual arts and studio spaces, its Function Centre holds up to 450 people and attracts business events of all sizes.
Regular theatre programs include an annual FAC presented season, one of the country’s most successful Musical Matinees series and a developing cabaret and music program
