Eastbank Centre - Riverlinks Venues

The Eastbank Centre, Shepparton is one of the two venues operated under the “Riverlinks” banner by the Greater Shepparton City Council. It was opened in 2001 following a major refurbishment of the Shepparton Civic Centre and Art Gallery. The building houses an 850-seat auditorium and a 280-seat recital space as well as the Shepparton Art Gallery. Eastbank has recently purchased what it proudly claims to be 'the best Steinway piano in Australia', and is the home of the biennial Australian National Piano Award competition.

With two levels of foyer space, a public atrium thoroughfare, a busy café and box office, “Eastbank” is a bustling place seven days a week. Visitors are welcomed at the entrance by pieces of public art, painted by local artists on life sized fibreglass cows, symbolising the importance of dairying in the local economy and projecting the arts very comfortably into the public domain.
