About
The City of Casey supports the development of arts opportunities through programs and facilities including:
• The Factory Rehearsal Centre for the Arts - a dedicated purpose-built rehearsal facility for the performing arts.
• Cranbourne Community Theatre – A jointly owned theatre which seats 270.
• Eumemmerring Community Theatre – A jointly owned theatre which seats 240.
• Performing Arts Centre – In development stages, this facility will incorporate a theatre with fly tower, seating for 1,000; and a Professional Gallery.
• Public Art –1% of all capital works budgets over 1 million dollars is dedicated to the creation and installation of a new piece of public art for the site.
• Winter Arts Program – An annual program of free arts activities and events
• Civic Centre Art Space – 12 exhibitions each year showcasing the works of local artists in the main customer service centre.
• Arts News – Quarterly arts newsletter
